Human Bone Anatomy Introduction

The skeletal is usually used as the symbol of death, skeletal sometimes also symbolizes the creepy or scary things. Skeletal is one of the parts of human body which is used to support and protect the other organs. Unlike other organs, bones are strong and firm. They have their vessels, blood, lymphatic, as well as nerves. Similar to the other organs, skeletal or human skeleton is very complex; therefore there is human bone anatomy to simplify the study of human bone.

Human Bone Anatomy Parts

When you look at the human bone anatomy, there are 2 types of tissue on bones; they are called compact bone and spongy bone. The compact ones are dense and hard. They make up the external layer of almost all bones. It is also the main material for shaft of long bones, like in the arms and legs. Blood vessels and nerves are living inside these bones tissues. The spongy bones are  made of smaller plates, which are filled with redbone marrow. They are usually found at the end parts of the long bones or at the center of other bones.

At the human skull anatomy, there are several majors of skeletal system that are made up human body, such as skulls, vertebral column, rig cage, hip bones and etc. Skull consists of about 22 separates bones that are made up from the whole cranium as the housing bone for brain. Among those bones, the 21 bones are fused, nearly rigid joints. The vertebral column is also an important series of the skeletal system in human body; it is a collection of irregular bones on the back which are connected directly to the skull. By birth, human has 33 to 34 vertebral column bones, as it is aged; this series becomes 26 bones.
